Search engines Bing and Google also allows you to ping them with your new sitemap manually. To do that, you shoudl visit in your browser following URLs:

https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap={URL-of-your-sitemap}
https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=
Google Webmaster Tools
https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/ping?sitemap=
Google Webmaster Tools
https://www.bing.com/webmaster/
Bing , have to login to webmaster and submit sitemap.
